We are looking for a Quality Engineer on behalf our client who is a manufacturing company based in Leicestershire

This is a permanent position - employed directly by the hiring company

The Job:

Quality Engineer
Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch
Salary is between £35-40k dependant on your experience
You will be working alongside both the Quality Manager and Quality Inspector to ensure the company meets QA objectives
Ensuring continuous improvement within the framework of ISO 0991 to ensure all products are of the right quality first time
You will need to deal with both suppliers and customers and working alongside any other internal departments
About you:

You must have worked in ISO 9001 approved manufacturing company, preferably ISO16949
Understanding of process capability, Cp & Cpk
Knowledge of core tools e.g. SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA
Knowledge of quality tools in resolution of quality concerns
Experience in internal auditing, qualification preferred
Involvement in ISO 9002 & customer audits
Able to use basic measuring equipment such as micrometer, electronic calliper (vernier calliper), shadowgraph, thread ring & plug gauges
Computer literate
Experience in data analysis and dealing directly with both customers and suppliers
