The Law Firm & Position:
A prestigious, highly ranked legal 100 city law firm require a Residential Property Associate (PQE3-5 years) to manage a broad range of residential property matters for UHNW international clients and investors.
Property acquisitions include prime central London period properties and new builds, from luxury apartments to large town houses as well as country houses and estates – with values ranging from £3-50million.
The matters will be complex in nature and typically involve licences to assign, underlet and alter, (including draft documentation), deeds of variation, complex financing, etc.
Client care and communication is vital as the firm pride themselves on providing a service which is second to none, often hand-holding clients through the process especially where buying property in the UK may be unfamiliar to them.
Residential Property Associates background:
Residential Property Associates must have 3-5 years PQE experience working for a highly respected boutique property law firm, a highly ranked city / west end firm or highly regarded regional firm, and be adept with:
Dealing with high value, prime London residential property acquisitions
rafting complex documents including licences to assign, underlet and alter, (including draft documentation), deeds of variation, etc.
Negotiating on behalf of the client and managing a small number of high value matters with minimal supervision.
Drafting letters / emails as part of a transaction or when giving advice to clients
Preparation of SDLT forms and registrations
Generally assisting on due diligence for large-scale investment projects
