Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Support Worker to join a newly opened 2-bed children’s home in Hendon. Supporting two young people, the role involves providing a safe, nurturing environment, working within a small team to implement the development of the home, and complying with Ofsted and company standards. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working in a children’s home.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure young people’s safety and well-being, protecting them from harm.

* Support individual care plans and encourage recreational activities.

* Build relationships with parents, social workers, schools, and professionals.

* Maintain a safe, clean environment by performing household duties.

* Follow safeguarding, child protection, and therapeutic care policies.

Requirements:

* Experience of at least one year working in a children’s home.

* Ability to follow child protection and safeguarding procedures.

* Strong interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with young people and professionals.

* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, and perform tasks outside the outlined responsibilities as needed.
