Salary: £40,000 per year

Full Time

The Domiciliary Care Manager role will involve:

- Working with and alongside co-ordinators in the day-to-day operation of the Domiciliary Care Services and maintaining up to date records.

- The management of a team of Care workers.

- Scheduling and producing rotas using for their team of community care staff and the competence to work around such rota's when sickness and absence of carers is involved.

- Participating as required in the initial assessment of service users’ needs and planning service user care along with updating risk assessments and care plans.

- Liaising with other health and social care professionals to develop a person-centred package of care for new clients.

- Reporting to the Manager on a weekly basis regarding activity levels and outcomes for service users.

- Having or willingness to develop a good understanding of the geographical area.

- Responsibility for helping and supporting care workers.

- Covering calls as required to service users during times of holiday and sickness.

The successful Domiciliary Care Manager will be subject to a clear DBS and have:

- Previous experience in Domiciliary Care.

- Good IT Skills. (experience of People Planner is desirable)
