Job Title: Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor, you will assist in managing the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

* Supervising and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

* Assisting with the management of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient site operations.

* Monitoring site progress and ensuring that work is carried out according to design, schedule, and safety standards.

* Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.

* Maintaining detailed site reports, including daily progress logs, safety records, and quality control documentation.

* Assisting with the delivery and management of materials and equipment on site.

* Supporting the Site Manager in overseeing the health and safety of all site personnel, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

* Ensuring clear communication between the site team, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project delivery.

* Assisting with the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Site Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have the following:

* A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Site Supervisor role, preferably within civil engineering, earthworks, ground remediation, or related construction fields.

* A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline is desirable, but not essential.

* Strong knowledge of site management processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to coordinate and supervise site teams effectively, ensuring work is completed to the required standard.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage issues and challenges on-site.

* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

* Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
