A leading company specialising in scientific instruments, with a strong focus on applications in energy storage and battery technology is currently looking to hire a R&D Testing Engineer (Battery). The successful candidate will develop and execute rigorous testing procedures to ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of complex systems and components.
 
The R&D Testing Engineer (Battery) will:

Conduct performance, reliability, stress, and failure analysis tests on mechanical, electronic, and software systems.
Analyse and interpret test data, providing actionable feedback to the engineering team.
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, protocols, and procedures for new and existing product designs.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Design and build custom test setups and fixtures as needed.  
The R&D Testing Engineer (Battery) will have:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in testing within an R&D or product development environment.
Proficiency in test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and related tools.
Hands-on experience with automated testing systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
Strong communication skills for documenting and presenting test results.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes.
