Role - HGV Technician

Location - Bristol

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 ( 50 hours PW ) - Saturdays paid extra

Our Clients are now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join them, contributing to our high standards of vehicle maintenance and safety.

Role Summary:
As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles, including HGVs, tankers, and road sweepers. Working across two shift patterns, you will be integral to keeping our fleet on the road and supporting operations in waste recycling.

Shift Patterns:

Shift 1: 06:00 - 16:30
Shift 2: 08:00 - 18:30
1 in 2 saturday mornings 06:00 - 12.00Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on HGVs, tankers, and road sweepers.
Diagnose, repair, and service mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Conduct safety checks and ensure all vehicles comply with health and safety standards.
Maintain clear and accurate records of repairs and service performed.
Support team operations with occasional call-outs (for senior-level technicians).What We're Looking For:

Experience: Strong experience as an HGV technician, preferably with tankers and road sweepers.
Qualifications: Relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications.
Attention to Detail: Ability to diagnose and repair faults accurately and efficiently.
Flexibility: Willing to work rotating shift patterns.
Driving License: valid driving license (essential for call-out responsibilities).Senior Technician Opportunity:

For senior-level technicians who demonstrate high competency and reliability, they offer a company van for on-call duties. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license and a proven track record, giving our clients full confidence in their skills to manage call-outs independently.
