We’re supporting our client, a leading specialist machine manufacturer based in Coventry, who are looking for a Demonstration Engineer to join their growing team.
Position Overview: As a Demonstration Engineer, you'll be focusing on the delivery and demonstration of machines produced by the company. This will typically include demonstrating machining strategy and showcasing machinery onsite.
About You:
* Solid engineering experience, with at least four years of experience in a machine tool environment.
* Proficiency in NC programming language and familiarity with Fanuc and Okuma controls would be advantageous but not essential.
* Exposure to CAM packages for NC program generation and machine simulation is beneficial.
* A passion for embracing new technology is key.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* A high degree of self-motivation; you can work independently but also as part of a team.
* Effective time management to achieve project milestones.
