Assistant Marketing Manager - Full Time on Site in Guildford - Salary £35-£40,000
I am looking to recruit for a major manufacturing company an Assistant Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in B2B marketing and organizing national exhibitions. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, fulfilling day-to-day marketing duties to contribute to the company's smooth operation. With a creative approach, this role will effectively raise brand awareness and increase audience growth through marketing techniques.
Responsibilities / Duties
Tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the core functions of the marketing team and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with the client's brand identity across digital and traditional.
Overlook and manage the upkeep of working with thier marketing and creative partners
Conducting market research withing their industry, analysing trends in the market and the competitor's market.
Monitoring the marketing inbox by phone/email and dealing with queries quickly and efficiently.
Employ marketing analytic techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc). Improving workstream flow and developing new processes to support, Service, Sales and Marketing.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
Creating valuable marketing content, writing marketing literature and deliver promotional presentations. Development of educational, training and promotional videos
Work on the development and strategy for product Launches, yearly exhibitions and other yearly events.
Manage, overlook and delegate tasks to Junior Graphics Designer
Supporting sales and service team.
Organising marketing collateral and materials for the sales team, and upkeep, consistent progression and development of their loyalty programmes
Liaise with our external marketing agencies to manage company website, social media account, reviews, case studies and ongoing campaigns.
Support and provide partners with marketing material and updated information in line with change to products for both digital and print.
B2B communication to build trusting relationships and partnerships with the marketing teams and external partners
Undertake daily marketing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department activities.
As part of a team, play a pro-active role in achieving personal and group objectives. Within marketing to be able to communicate effectively ideas, views, and initiatives with team members and management.
Support Marketing Manager in organising various projects and setting up promotional events.
Upkeep and management of Marketing invoices and finances, ensuring cost effectiveness and savings.
Skills/ Experience
Proven experience or recent internship in the marketing industry is advantageous.
Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Exquisite communication and people skills.
Good understanding and experience working with MS office, marketing computer software, adobe programmes and online applications.
Ability to work as a team and individually.
Good knowledge of market research, strategies and databases.
Highly motivated, with the willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changes.
Ability to learn quickly, retain knowledge and work on own initiative to make decisions quickly and efficiently
Attention to detail
Must be able to communicate at all levels across the business.
Strong communication, listening and organisational skills.
