Qualified Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Leicester

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Leicester. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering a chance to make a real impact in students’ learning.

Role Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. You will be expected to plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to secondary school students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths in a UK secondary school.
A valid DBS on the Update Service.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
