Description
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement strategic procurement and supply chain processes.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team to achieve departmental objectives.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure best value.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
Oversee the risk management of the supply chain.
Manage budget and cost within the department.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and apply them to procurement strategies.Profile
The successful candidate would have:
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG Food industry.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain management processes.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Proficient knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.
