CCTV trainee engineer

Luton *Willing to travel and stay awake up to 4 nights a week*
Monday to Friday

As a trainee CCTV engineer, you will be required to:

* Install, service, maintain, test, and commission intruder alarm systems, IP surveillance systems, and access control systems, following SSAIB standards and regulations.

* Assist and learn from senior engineers, progressing from basic tasks to full system installations.

* Deliver high-quality installations efficiently, following detailed plans and specifications.

* Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring proper system functionality through testing.

* Conduct site visits to clean, check, and maintain systems.

* Communicate with site teams, request remedial work, and conduct surveys.

* Liaise with Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC).

* Produce commissioning, handover documents, and as-fit drawings.

* Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to Health & Safety procedures.

* Train clients on system operation and functionality.

* Attend staff meetings and health & safety talks.

* Collect and deliver equipment from designated locations.

* Complete required site visit documentation.

Candidate:

* Demonstrate a general knowledge of all Security Systems.

* Demonstrate strong communication skills.

* Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same.

* Complete any relevant health and safety tests/qualifications required to access site and carry out works above.

* Full Driving License (subject to inspection for company insurances)

* Employment will be subject to successful BS7858 security screening and Enhanced Disclosure Check (DBS).

* Must be willing to work away for up to 4 night
