The Role

Commercial Finance Manager – Grimsby – up to £75,000 + Car allowance

Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with this market leading, fast growing international group of companies who are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their finance function as Commercial Finance Manager.

You will report into the Head for Business Performance and support the business through valuable analysis and assisting in the strategic planning. Your role will involve you developing business information/MI and provide commercial analysis and insight into business performance. You will be responsible for partnering commercial, sales and marketing teams to drive understanding, decision support and business performance.

Business partnering, decision support and performance delivery
Support and drive the Commercial team on tenders / promotions / competitive steal and business planning
Inflation management and driving appropriate actions to recover through the sales team
Identify opportunities to improve margin through pricing, and product development
Evaluation of new range and promotional plans (pre and post analysis, insight, control)
Customer margin management for UK & Export customers, providing insight & challenge
Sales Margin management – analysis and driving action to improve
Flexibility to cover wider commercial agenda as required
Provision of timely and accurate facts with balanced and insightful information to the right people at the right time
Improving commercial insight and analysis
Act as “bridge” between commercial and other functions to ensure best business outcome and alignment of plans and actionsThe ideal candidate will be:

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong commercial finance experience
Driven individual who is to make impact and grow with the business
Ability to engage your wider audience and be the personal trainer for the business / sales team
High level of IT literacy – with excellent excel skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and within the team structure
Able to challenge in a constructive manner
