Management Accountant (Manufacturing)
  
Are you an experienced Management Accountant ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, an established and steadily growing company in the manufacturing industry, is on the hunt for a talented Management Accountant to join their team.
  
Reporting directly to the Finance Director the Management Accountant, will play a crucial role not only within the finance team but across the entire company. You’ll be the go-to person for producing accurate monthly management accounts, offering valuable commentary to directors, and supporting various financial functions that drive the business forward.

Delivering precise monthly management accounts and presenting findings to the directors.
Collaborating with Sales & Purchase Ledger Clerks, and managing data to trial balance.
Handling month-end processes including journals, pre-payments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Conducting in-depth investigations into process costs and variances; implementing cost-effective solutions.
Managing cash flow forecasting and working capital.
Engaging in product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
Liaising with various departments to gather and interpret operational and financial data.
Preparing year-end accounts.
Tackling ad hoc projects, including new system implementation.   
You – The Management Accountant

Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA as a minimum.
Proven experience in producing management accounts.
A background in the manufacturing sector is essential.
Strong communication skills are a must—you’ll be interacting with managers and departments regularly.
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of integrated management systems.
Experience in foreign exchange and export transactions is a plus.   
Starting salary from £40,000 per annum (pro-rata).
