Cost Improvement Engineer
Sunderland
Permanent - £45,255 per annum
An experienced Cost Improvement Engineer is wanted to join a major Sunderland employer on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will focus on identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives across the company.
Role & Responsibilities
* Analysing current processes and identifying any cost saving opportunities
* Collaborating with other departments in the business for cost improvement projects
* Preparing detailed reports on cost improvement findings and ideas to present to management
* Leading cost improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery to budget constraints
Knowledge & Experience
* Proven experience in a similar role ideally within manufacturing
* Knowledge of quality systems – ISO/TS:16949, methods and practises including APQP, FMEA, Control Plan and PPAP
* Six Sigma Certification is desirable
* Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
