Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team within the conveyors industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of conveyor system projects, from initial design and planning through to installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.

* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Design and Engineering:

* Collaborate with design engineers to create innovative and efficient conveyor system solutions that meet customer requirements.

* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Procurement and Supply Chain:

* Source and procure necessary equipment, materials, and components.

* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms.

* Coordinate the logistics and delivery of materials to project sites.

Installation and Commissioning:

* Oversee the installation of conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety guidelines.

* Conduct thorough testing and commissioning to verify the system's performance and functionality.

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the commissioning phase.

Customer Relationship Management:

* Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.

* Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the conveyors industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

* Strong understanding of conveyor system design principles, components, and operations.

* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

* Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

* Experience with industry-specific software (e.g., conveyor design software).

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

* Experience with international projects.
