My client is seeking a seeking a full time Housing Manager initially on a temporary basis, however the role could go permanent for the right candidate.

Purpose of Job:

* To be the face of the organisation, fostering a sense of community and engagement among residents.

* To be responsible for running the office and providing an effective and responsive service to all residents.

* To work under the direction of the Management Committee who will decide the policies and set its priorities and objectives.

* To lead, motivate, and inspire the staff team to achieve the aims and drive continuous improvement.

Housing Management:

* To manage rent payments and take appropriate action to recover arrears.

* To oversee arrange property viewings and accompany prospective tenants.

* To provide housing and benefit advice to residents.

* To address management problems such as noise complaints, anti-social behaviour, and parking issues.

* To issue transfer application forms and liaise with Wandsworth Council.

* To manage cases of squatted properties and advise tenants on Right to Buy schemes.
