Event Safety Manager | London based with Hybrid working | £65-£72k + Package

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety of live events, broadcasts, and experiential activations? A leading event, entertainment and media company is seeking a proactive and experienced Event Safety Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead safety initiatives across a variety of high-profile events, both in the UK and internationally.

About the Role:

You’ll be at the heart of creating and managing safety strategies for major events including concerts, outside broadcasts, experiential activations, and creative challenges. You’ll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and partners to ensure safe and successful event delivery in dynamic and high-profile environments.

What You'll Do:

* Maintain, review, and develop the company’s safety management systems.

* Provide risk assessments and safety planning for large-scale events and creative projects.

* Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.

* Oversee on-site safety, including setup, operation, and breakdown, acting as the key contact during live events.

* Lead post-event reviews and continuously improve safety protocols and processes.

About You:

You’re a strong communicator who can influence, engage, and lead safety practices across a wide range of activities. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adaptable, innovative, and results-driven. Your ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners will be critical in maintaining a safe environment across all events.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Demonstrable experience managing health & safety at large-scale events, ideally within the entertainment or media industry.

* Extensive knowledge of UK safety regulations, including CDM, crowd management, and fire safety.

* Proven experience in event planning, risk management, and emergency planning.

* Chartered Member of IOSH (or equivalent) is desirable.
