Electrical Site Supervisor – Southwest Region
Our client is looking to strengthen their Construction team with an Electrical Site Supervisor based in the Southwest Region.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Head of Construction, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities efficiently, ensuring work is completed to specification, within contract time, and without compromising health, safety, or quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise site electrical installations.
*
Ensure SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards are maintained and safe systems of work are followed.
*
Monitor and verify new electrical systems.
*
Oversee safe isolation of LV electrical systems.
*
Track supply chain performance and program adherence.
*
Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans to ensure relevance and accuracy.
*
Attend site inductions, toolbox talks, and collaborative planning meetings.
*
Support commissioning activities as required.
*
Act as Electrical Appointed Person, ensuring adherence to electrical safety rules and supporting documentation.
*
Conduct electrical isolations and regular safety inspections of temporary and permanent equipment.
*
Hold one-to-one meetings with supply chain supervisors and ensure "Take 5" safety checks are conducted.
*
Assist in compiling project takeover documentation.
*
Oversee electrical testing in line with BS7671, reviewing results against guidance notes and manufacturer literature.

Issue Limitation of Access Permits.
*
Maintain a daily site activity diary.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:

SSSTS or SMSTS
*
Appointed Person Status
*
First Aid at Work (FAAW)
*
ECS Card
*
C&G 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installations
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
*
IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Preferred Qualification:

2391 Test and Inspect
