Our public sector client based in Newcastle have an exciting opportunity for 2 Business Support Officers to join their team as soon as possible!
The roles are temporary on going that are due to start as soon as possible and will involve working full time, Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (37 hours per week).
The pay rate for the role is £12.59 per hour.
The purpose of the role is to provide support to child protection meetings for a busy social care team, carrying out the role of a minute taker.
The office base is in Byker however, at times you may be required to attend meetings off site within community settings such as schools.
As part of the role you will be required to attend meetings in person and via Teams where family and professionals are in attendance, and take notes of discussions held live, producing high quality notes and outlining prevalent points raised and decision rationale.
The successful candidate should have experience of minute taking and/or the ability to convey discussion points in a clear, written format.
Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills will also be required in order to manage a high workload whilst meeting deadlines.
You must also be able to demonstrate emotional resilience due to the nature of meeting content, able to manage sensitive information and data whilst adhering to GDPR, with good knowledge of Microsoft Packages, particularly Word and Excel.
