A new opportunity for a Mechanical Technician is now available to join a reputable Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the companies assets before and after deployment. You must possess a proactive approach to safety and company standards. If you take pride in your work and are looking to join a hardworking team then you will hit the ground running within the environment.

Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance on assets before and after deployment.

* Diagnose faults promptly and efficiently.

* Maintain records.

* Inspect and test assets making sure they meet safety standards.

* Coordinate with Project Managers.

* Participate in training programs.

* Collaborate with the Asset Team.

Key Competencies:

* Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.

* Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.

* Meticulous in performing inspections, maintenance, and documentation.

Qualifications:

* Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering – Essential

* HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering qualification – Preferred

* Demonstrate understanding of Mechanical Assembly and Hydraulic drawings – Essential

* Able to use and identify technical tools and instruments
