Structures Technician / Sheet Metal Worker | CONTRACT | Essex
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a renowned company that specializes in the repair and refurbishment of Aircraft Structures, Flying Surfaces, Nacelles, and Interiors. With over 80 years of industry experience, they have become a leading supplier of complex machined components and assemblies for the aerospace sector. They specialize in thread rolling, heat treatment, and NDT, serving customers in civil, defense, production, and aftermarket segments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Adhering to quality standards.
* Performing repairs and modifications to aircraft structures and components.
* Ensuring that relevant repair documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Working collaboratively with the team.
Details:
* Hourly pay rate of £24.50 (LTD - the client deemed the role to be outside IR35)
* Long-term (ongoing contract)
* Shift pattern Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, with overtime available, expecting 40-60 hours per week.
About You:
* Previous experience with structures.
* Previous Aerospace experience.
* Must have experience working on skin repair.
* Good attention to detail.
* Right to work in the EU is mandatory.
