About the Roles:
Career Teachers are seeking a Breakfast/After-school Club Assistant for a Primary School in Lewisham, South London! We are looking for someone to begin immediately, and the hours are 7:30-8:30am, or 4pm-6pm.

We seek compassionate, patient, and creative individuals passionate about education and making a significant impact in children's lives. This school has high SEND requirements, and as such we would be looking for someone with previous experience with SEND children.

Responsibilities of a Breakfast/After-school Club Assistant:

Supervise Children: Ensure the safety and well-being of children during club hours.
Prepare Meals: Prepare and serve breakfast and snacks, adhering to food hygiene standards.
Organise Activities: Plan and facilitate engaging activities and games for children.
Set Up and Clean Up: Set up the club area before children arrive and clean up after they leave.
Support Learning: Assist children with homework and other educational activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for candidates with prior experience in childcare or school-related roles, such as babysitting, tutoring, coaching, summer camps, or previous teaching assistant positions. Candidates must have:

A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Valid Right to Work status in the UK
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A strong passion for education and working with children!
