Polytec are looking for a Production and Engineering Technician to provide support to the production and engineering teams of our client based near Saffron Walden.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support for production and engineering teams
* Repair and maintain systems as part of production and RMA processes
* Assembly of systems and sub-assemblies
* Test and configure systems
* Maintain documentation and change control
* Design and/or build prototype test jigs and assemblies
* Support to field trials and demonstrations
* Occasional off-site support at customer and supplier premises
Requirements:
* At least HNC level qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
* Highly analytical and focused on details
* Significant experience working on advanced electrical and electronic devices
* Good engineering knowledge and awareness of standard electrical lab practices and processes
* Good practical skills in building, fixing and modifying electronic / electromechanical equipment
