The Role: As Finance Director, you will take on a pivotal role in our leadership team, with overall responsibility for all financial activities across the Northpoint group. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and joining the Board of Directors after a successful probation period, you will lead our financial strategy, ensuring the company’s continued growth and stability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

Manage accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax compliance.

Drive financial performance by implementing governance around Capex, Opex and profitability

Supporting operational functions and strategic business initiatives with robust financial insights.

Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including accountants, banks, and tax authorities.

Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial processes.

Hours & Location: Based in our Dukinfield, Greater Manchester office, with office hours from 9am to 5pm.

We are looking for a results-driven, hands-on Finance Director with:

Proven experience in a senior financial role, ideally as a Finance Director.

A qualified accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) with a minimum of five years in management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

A strategic mindset with experience in managing cash flow, financial risks, and multi-functional budgets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to driving growth and profitability.
