Hours/Days: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (office based)
Salary: Up to £28k + Bonus (monthly and yearly)

The role of Finance Assistant will be:
The Finance Assistant role involves working closely with the sales team, credit controllers and finance team, reporting into the Head of Finance. The person will be responsible for ensuring sales invoices are correctly generated and dispatched, assisting in checking sales teams’ monthly commission, as well as various reconciliations, billings, accounts receivable, purchase ledger, credit checking and providing an important support function to the Sales and Finance teams.
The Finance Assistant role will include maintaining correct & auditable records for invoices raised, posting sales journals and invoice posting to Accounts package (Sage 200), timely & accurate close-off of files / revenue stream. You will provide accurate feedback on queries, procedures and VAT issues as well as various other Billings/purchase ledger/ Finance related responsibilities.
* Focused on collecting cash, cash, cash!! (via emails, and especially telephone calls ie chasing at least 60+ clients/ day)
* Posting cash receipts (GBP, EUR, USD)
* Purchase ledger

* processing credit card payments
* Timely dealing with client queries (once settled in)
* Assisting Credit Manager in populating new vendor forms
* Well spoken, articulate, good writing skills, able to foster good relationships with internal & external stakeholders
* Reliable, Action taker, Results driven, gets stuck into collecting cash & achieving targets
* Good attention to detail
* Office based training will be given by Credit Manager
* Any other ad hoc tasks as requested
This Finance Assistant position requires someone who is:
