Sewell Wallis is working with a forward-thinking global company based out of Worksop who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant for full time hours on a rolling contract! Although initially this position will be on a rolling contract, there is a strong possibility for this to turn permanent after 6 months but this would be ideal for someone available immediately.

What will you be doing?

Reconciliation and processing of prepayments, accruals and standard charges.
Balance Sheet reconciliation.
Preparation of the budgets and forecasts.
Monthly accounts for overhead costs.
Quarterly preparation of VAT returns.
Assist with preparation of Statutory Accounts and Tax packs.
Processing journals.
Reconciliation of fixed asset control.
Management of company credit cards. What skills are we looking for?

Willingness to studying towards ACCA/CIMA, or currently studying/qualified AAT.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills - including V-lookups and pivot tables.
Confident communicator both verbally and written.
Attention to detail.
Great customer service experience and skills.What's on offer?
