JT Recruit are working in partnership with a local Authority in Derby who are looking to appoint two temporary Carelink Operators to join the team.

The team is a 24-hour emergency TSA accredited monitoring and response service ensuring that vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the phone or at the touch of a button whenever they need it. You will provide professional call handling services and an appropriate level of assistance to all of its customers that have telecare alarms installed in their own homes.

This service supports people who wish to remain living independently for as long as they can. It also brings reassurance to users by ensuring safety within the home. Customers activate a support call at any time 24/7 via the alarm unit installed in their own home and or the sensors attached to it.

As a Carelink operator you will be required to provide a call handling and telephony service, answering calls professionally through the specialist computerised call handling system, from vulnerable people in their own homes sometimes of a life threatening and/or emergency nature and arranging for emergency assistance when required.

To undertake data inputting and creation of referrals and equipment for the service and to monitor and act in relation to all Lone Workers using the Carelink service.

Working day and afternoon shifts including unsociable hours. 07:00am to 15:00pm and 15:00pm to 23:00pm

Hours are 37 per week Based at the Gatehouse Kedleston Road Derby (On-site parking available) Full training will be given.
