Occupational Therapist - Full-Time, Permanent job vacancy in Severn Beach, South Gloucestershire

Location: Conveniently commutable from towns such as Almondsbury, Bradley Stoke, Thornbury, Patchway, Severn Beach and Filton.

* Actual Salary: £32,400 - £38,400 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing tailored interventions for children and young people with complex needs. Working autonomously, you’ll manage a varied caseload, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans. Your role will involve:

* Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with diverse needs, including autism, sensory issues, and attachment difficulties.

* Interpreting assessment results to create and deliver effective intervention plans.

* Supporting children’s development through personalized care plans, focusing on daily living activities, self-care, productivity, and leisure.

* Ensuring all occupational therapy practices are evidence-based and aligned with clinical governance and risk management standards.

Essential Criteria:

* A Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC Registration.

* Membership with RCOT.

* Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with children.

* Proficiency in various clinical approaches, especially those related to Autism, sensory needs, and attachment disorders.

* Skilled in implementing sensory strategies.
