TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based within Leeds LS6. The nursery works hard to provide a warm and caring environment for the children as they settle into nursery, with all the staff working hard to ensure the different needs of the children are met and they are supported throughout their time at the nursery. The nursery has several rooms as well as an outdoor area, with each room set up to cater for the different ages of the children in attendance. They work closely with the parents of the children to identify any areas where the children may need support, and ensure that every children’s interests are incorporated within their planning.

The nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working within the Early Years sector, with a good working knowledge of the EYFS and current Safeguarding Policies and Procedures. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be passionate about working with young children and helping them develop.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will:

Hold a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or above
Have at least 6 months experience working within an Early Years setting
Be reliable and hardworking, and ready to take on a new challenge
