A reputable Further Education college in East Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Health and Social Care Assessor to support adult social care apprentices and students. This role will allow you to help students achieve essential qualifications and develop valuable skills for the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments for adult social care qualifications, both at the college and in workplace settings.
Develop assessment plans, collaborating with students and employers to ensure meaningful progress.
Monitor, document, and provide feedback on student performance to help them meet qualification requirements.
Ensure standards are met through practical and theoretical assessments.
Keep accurate records, submit evidence in line with college requirements, and participate in quality assurance processes.
Build relationships with local employers to support student placements and training.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications: Minimum Level 5 in adult social care and an Assessor Award (e.g., A1 or equivalent).
Experience: Previous experience in adult social care, ideally with practical and theoretical assessment.
Licence: Valid UK driving licence required for workplace assessments.
Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate students effectively.
