PQ/OQ Engineer

This role will be part of the PQ function and will provide support to the Lead Engineer.

 The role will include both Exterior & Interior Trim development . The primary role is to

support projects in the design stages of the program.

 Co-ordinate OQ Reviews with a cross functional team

 Gather benchmarking data to support OQ reviews

Main Activities & Tasks

 Will report to the Lead Engineer – Perceived Quality

 CAD operation skills not essential however the ability to interpret CAD drawings and

sectional data is essential

 TCUA (Team Centre) PLM utilisation is desirable

 Plan and co-ordinate OQ Reviews for Exterior and Interior

 Support Lead PQ Integration Engineer on complete vehicle reviews and Benchmarking

exercises as required.

 Generation and maintenance of the PQ Register and PQ Attribute within the Program

Issues Register

 Support the Lead in guiding design and engineering teams in understanding and applying

potential solutions which achieve PQ targets.

 Support the Lead in performing digital reviews and sign-off events for OQ/PQ related

activities, for Exterior and Interior systems.

 Assist with the Benchmarking of competitor vehicles & reporting findings.

 Support Optical Quality & Perceived Quality development & assessment activities.

 Assist in the development of a PQ Benchmarking database
