Start People are seeking a skilled Tig Welder for one of our clients based in Billingham. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various materials, this role requires attention to detail.

Duties

* Perform Tig welding on various metal components, ensuring precision and quality in every weld.

* Assemble and fabricate parts according to engineering specifications and drawings.

* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

* Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience

* Proven experience in welding, specifically Tig welding, with a strong understanding of stick welding as well.

* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

* Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
