Job Advertisement: Technical Account Manager (Field-Based)
We are seeking a committed Technical Account Manager for a full-time, permanent, field-based position. This role is ideal for a customer-focused individual with a strong technical background in water treatment and account management, ready to grow and maintain relationships within key industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report directly to the central area manager, achieving individual commercial targets that align with the company’s strategic goals.
* Manage industrial water treatment applications, including routine testing and oversight of cooling and boiler water treatment at customer sites.
* Balance a 20/80 split between new business acquisition and key account management, providing comprehensive service, consultation, and sales support.
* Oversee all account activities, including correspondence, contracts, order management, new business implementation, and problem-solving.
* Conduct monthly forecasting for financial performance within the territory.
* Serve clients across diverse sectors, including food and beverage, metal processing, and general manufacturing.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, general engineering, or a science-related discipline.
* Proven account management experience, with technical expertise in the water treatment or Legionella Risk sectors.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
* Valid full driving license required, as frequent travel is essential for this role.
