Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (Day Shift) – MOD Projects

Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
Additional: On-call weekends as required
Clearance Requirement: DV (Developed Vetting) clearance

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time, day-shift basis. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of engineers on critical MOD projects, ensuring the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of engineers on MOD projects.

* Oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems.

* Ensure all work complies with MOD regulations and JSB 375 standards.

* Implement and strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

* Collaborate with various departments to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

* Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.

* Occasionally take part in on-call support during weekends.

Essential Requirements:

* Security Clearance: High Level DV Security Clearance or recently lapsed DV clearance.

* Nationality: Must be a UK Sole National.

* Background: Strong experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering.

* Leadership: Proven track record in leading engineering teams.

* Knowledge: Familiar with Electrical Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities.

* Standards Compliance: Understanding of JSB 375 standards.

Desired Skills:

* Certified or experienced as an Electrical Authorised Person (AP).

* Knowledge or hands-on experience with JSB 375 standards.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
