Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a world leading performance manufacturer in the heart of Derbyshire who are looking for a Quality CMM Inspector to join their talented team.

They are offering up to c£35,000 per annum D.O.E. alongside a generous benefits package including a pension scheme, free onsite parking, the opportunity to work overtime, comprehensive training, and sick pay.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Carry out visual and dimensional inspection on machines using tools including gauges, verniers, micrometres and calipers

* Source components based on stringent specifications

* Draw using a wide range of tools

* Run approved CMM programs

* Ensure processes are completed in line with regulations and approved standards

* Comply with ISO9001:2015 QMS requirements

* Maintain inspection documents and ensure they are logged on the QMS correctly

Skills & Requirements

* Apprentice trained in relevant engineering discipline

* Demonstrable quality inspection experience in a precision engineering environment

* Experience in Automotive, Motorsport or Aerospace sector preferred

* Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience in running CMM programs highly advantageous

* Experience working with Mitutoyo CMM desirable but not essential

* Possess excellent attention to detail

* Be self-motivated and confident with solid communication skills, both verbally and written

* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
