Multitask Personnel are excited to work with SMS, a leading energy infrastructure company, to find experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to join their expanding workforce across Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader in the energy sector, where your expertise in smart metering, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and EV charge points will play a crucial role in decarbonising the UK’s energy system.

The Role:

As a Dual Fuel Engineer at SMS, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of smart meters and related systems. You’ll work closely with customers to provide top-tier service and contribute to SMS’s reputation for quality and reliability. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn additional income through callout and overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service while installing and maintaining dual fuel smart meters.

Communicate proactively with customers before visits.

Ensure high technical standards with a focus on first-time fix rates.

Assist with emergency cover and support team members on complex jobs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience.

CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1, MET2 certifications.

Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or Proof of Electrical Competence.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to work in the AB, IV, PH areas.
