What You Get to Do:

Repair and maintain tooling to support production and customer requirements.
Diagnose and improve tooling through detailed assessments and preventive maintenance.
Create and manage tooling reports and order spare parts as needed.
Polish and clean moulds to maintain high-quality standards.
Implement modifications and fabricate fixtures and spare parts.
Collaborate with external tool shops and maintain a spare parts system.
Work closely with the New Production Tooling Manager on new tooling projects.
Adhere to quality and environmental standards and instructions.
Maintain a high standard of workplace organization through the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Skills Helpful for the Role:

Proven experience in toolmaking, specifically with injection mould tools.
Proficient in understanding engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Strong planning and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Effective data presentation skills.
Knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
Analytical mindset with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Quick learner with a focus on safety.
Capable of meeting tight production targets.
Understanding of lean manufacturing and production costs, including waste, downtime, and scrap.
