White Label are excited to be recruiting for one of our key clients in Rochdale who due to huge business growth require an experienced Senior Project Manager for a brand new role. This is an extremely exciting role for a Senior Project Manager to join a growing business and truly add value and create something new, with a view to moving into Contracts/ Projects Director role within the mid term future.

My client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of specialist equipment predominantly for the automotive and aerospace sectors. With a worldwide customer base ranging from SME to large blue chip customers, we pride ourselves on delivering capital equipment, engineered to order. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our senior management team. This is a key strategic role with a clear path to progression into directorship.

Role Overview:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee all external business activities and will ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and safeguard the commercial interests of the business. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive contract strategy, support business development, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage, negotiate, and oversee contracts with clients and suppliers

* Lead the contract lifecycle from initiation through to execution and post-contract management.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring that the company’s interests are protected.

* Provide expert guidance on contractual matters, including resolving disputes and advising on contract amendments.

* Develop and implement contract management processes and tools to drive efficiency and reduce risk.

* Oversee a team of project managers, contracts administrator, and subcontractors

* Work closely with the senior management team to align contract strategy with business objectives.

* Support the company’s growth strategy by contributing to new business opportunities and long-term planning.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in project and contract management, gained within the manufacturing or engineering sector

* Strong understanding of international contract law, risk management, and negotiation.

* Experience of successfully implementing and driving change management throughout a business

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

* Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset.

* Formal Qualification gained in Project Management (APM, Prince 2)

* Ideally have some exposure to Quality Management Systems & be NEBOSH certified

Package on offer:

* Basic salary £65-75k per annum

* 10% bonus

* Car or Car Allowance
