Teacheractive is proud to be working with several Special Educational Needs and Disabilities providers across London, who are providing opportunities for experienced SEND Tutors to assist with young students struggling with an array of learning difficulties. The providers are looking for SEND Tutors  that can help students to flourish in both a social and educational aspect in 1:1 learning. The goal is to help the students to become successful and confident, so you will be responsible for providing the support to allow this to continue. Regular support of these young students are crucial for them to continue their academic learning.

Alternatively if you have experience working with children who are diagnosed with Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, SEMH /Social Emotional Mental Health, EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or ADD / Attention Deficit Disorder then it’s highly likely we will be able to find you a position within our SEND schools, or even mainstream schools. We provide 24/7 support and will build a strong relationship with yourself, in order to get a more detailed understanding of your needs and what role will best suit you.

The successful SEND Tutor will have:

Strong KS2, KS3 and KS4 Curriculum knowledge
An understanding of students with ASD, SLCN, and, SEMH
Creative and enticing lesson plans
Experience with EHC Plans
