The school provides high standards of education and has recently been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating. We are looking to appoint a teacher who has the highest expectations of pupils and who believes that all young people have the potential to achieve well, irrespective of background and ability. We are interested in receiving applications from candidates who are specialist in Resistant Materials/Product Design and who are able to teach across the disciplines at KS3.

The Head Teacher is looking to take on a driven Design & Technology Teacher on a Long-Term basis until the end of the academic year. This will lead to a permanent position for the right Design & Technology Teacher. The successful Design & Technology Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSE’s. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful Design & Technology Teacher will have:

-          QTS with Design & Technology specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

-          Experience teaching Design & Technology Teacher up to Key Stage 3 / KS4

-          Excellent classroom management
