Overview of the role:

Hours and location: 40+ hours per week, Mondays – Fridays with weekend shifts as required.

The role will be based in Cardiff

We are looking for an experienced Wheeled Material Re-handler to join our team in Cardiff. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year. You will be required to load and unload vehicles and vessels, and sort materials into correct bays.

Key Responsibilities:

* Load and unload vehicles and vessels

* Monitor materials and report any non-acceptable material items

* Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills and Knowledge Required:

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Wheeled Material Handler. They will be a self motivated, hardworking, team player who is able to work weekends as required.

* Experience operating Material Re-Handler in a safe, competent manner

* Experience operating various other plant and machinery (Beneficial)

* Ideally possesses an NPORS accreditation (Beneficial)
