Project Manager – Data Centres – Subcontracting Fit Out

The demand for new Data Centres is currently at an unprecedented level.

With the rise of global tech, remote working and marketing algorithms to name a few, the demand for Data Centres will only increase.

Therefore, four years ago, our client decided to expand their contracting division and create a new Data Centre business unit where they offer services in design, manufacture and installation of Structural Ceilings (HAC Systems) and Metal Security Partitions.

Backed by a global conglomerate and well-known brand, this new business unit now turns over £15M annually and has doubled turnover year on year, providing you with a solid foundation to elevate your career.

Our client currently has seven projects within or around the M25 and you will be responsible for managing 5 projects, with a value range from £200K - £3M. Occasional travel to Europe may also be required for this role.

Due to the very fast-paced nature of Data Centre Fit Out, Project Managers must be able to programme projects using ASTA. This is essential for the role as the programme is everything to Data centre clients.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with a background in subcontracting fit out, ideally having worked on data centre projects previously. Project Managers with a background in subcontracting fit out will have ideally worked on suspended, structural or bespoke ceiling systems.

You will be expected to visit sites 3 to 4 times a week and then you will work from home for the other days. You will be provided with a full set up to work remotely.
