FM Handyperson

We currently have a great opportunity for a FM Handyperson to join our in-house maintenance company, Property Plus. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

The Role

As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for all routine maintenance work to nominated schemes; to assist in the upkeep of the Group buildings; to undertake routine checks on equipment; to carry out routine maintenance work to the Group’s properties and, where required, external customer’s properties as directed.

Duties may include general maintenance such as minor decorations; grit application; health and safety repairs; minor communal repairs; overall tidiness of the building to include external grounds, storage and plant rooms. The post holder may also be required to carry out periodic tests, as directed, that may be required to the safety, security and access systems installed in the properties. You will also need to record the results of these tests in the appropriate document and to notify any failure to the Scheme Manager and maintain the appropriate records.

Skills and experience required:

* Skilled in general maintenance work

* Awareness of COSHH Regulations

* Excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

* Ability to organise a variety of tasks

* Ability to self-motivate with a 'can do' attitude

* Full UK Driving Licence
