We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Classroom Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in local secondary schools, empowering students aged 11-18 to achieve their full potential. Whether you’re a recent graduate, a career changer, or simply someone with a passion for education, this role could be perfect for you.
As a Trainee Classroom Leader, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. You’ll guide pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, support students in their learning, and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. You don’t need to be a subject expert, as full lesson plans will be provided – you just need the confidence and willingness to engage with young people.
This role is an excellent gateway into teaching and education. Many of our Classroom Leaders go on to pursue teaching qualifications such as a PGCE.
Requirements
The desired Classroom Leader will have:
- A degree or equivalent education
- A willingness to learn
- A natural leader and someone with the confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher
- A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people
