Our client is an established business within the distribution area. They have rapidly expanded over the last few years.

Back shift supervisor

Monday – Friday 2h30pm – 11pm

The Role:

Team Leadership: Manage, train, and develop a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring high performance and strong team morale.

Operational Efficiency: Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and stock accuracy.

Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Reporting: Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports for senior management.

Coordination: Collaborate closely with other departments including production, logistics, and administration team to ensure seamless operations.

The Successful Applicant

* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment, ideally within the distribution sector.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.

* Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

* SAP experience would be ideal.

* Solid understanding of health & safety regulations in a warehouse setting.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* You have the be a hands on leader, the management team is very much hands on.
