Your New Position

Reporting to the IT Manager, your role primarily involves providing day-to-day support and upkeep of the general IT infrastructure. You will handle all support incidents from 1st to 3rd line and be the first point of contact for any IT-related issues.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

* Investigate and resolve reports of loss or reduction in network connectivity as a priority.

* Perform daily monitoring to minimise the risk of equipment failure or service reduction.

* Create new email accounts upon request and perform housekeeping to prevent excess licensing costs.

* Review and push out Windows updates weekly to prevent exposure to operating system vulnerabilities.

* Create new accounts and perform regular housekeeping for Active Directory.

* Identify issues and perform repairs/upgrades to extend the life of equipment.

* Provide assistance while ensuring compliance with CCTV policy and GDPR.

* Identify and resolve underperforming or vulnerable hardware swiftly.

* Ensure the helpdesk system is always operational and address instances of staff circumventing it.

* Escalate any issues beyond basic knowledge to the IT Manager.

Requirments for Success

* MS Windows, Windows Server, Azure

* MS Office 365

* Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, etc.)

* Ability to work on own initiative

* Driving license

* Ability to use Sonic wall, Cisco, Datto, MS power Automate.
