Swift Specialist Recruitment Ltd are seeking a Customs Coordinator for a trusted Logistics client based in St Helens.

This role requires weekend working but comes with a hybrid working arrangement.

Job Role

- Managing day-to-day customs operations : a mixture of export, import and transit declarations for a variety of customers

- Account ownership, and managing customer relationship for certain customs brokerage accounts.

- Ensuring compliance is met with each declaration, and ensuring compliance requirements are met

- Attention to detail for declarations, while managing the workload of your accounts

- Maintaining customs records in logistics system, ensuring compliance and visibility for customers

Requirements

- Attention to detail

- Customer service/account management

- Experience in customs clearances preferred

Work Requirements:

Will require weekend work, both Saturday and Sunday. The 2 days off per week will be either Wednesday/Thursday or Thursday/Friday

Desirable:

Knowledge of Descartes eCustoms software, or similar customs software

Knowledge of excel

Knowledge of TMS systems

Previous experience in freight and customs roles
