Vehicle Technician

We are a small friendly family run business looking for a helpful, flexible and efficient person to join our team.

You will be required to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics and maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models of vehicles. Working 40hrs per week (Mon – Fri 8am to 5pm with 1hour unpaid lunch break) Could be flexible on hours for he right candidate.

Responsibilities include;

* Carrying out routine servicing and repairs

* Inspecting vehicles to a very high standard

* Testing and diagnosing vehicle faults

* Repairing and replacing vehicle parts

* Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance

* Keeping workspace and workshop clean and tidy

* Adhering to Health and Safety in the workshop

* Carrying out MOT’s (Preferable but not essential)

Requirements for this role;

* Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, NVQ) or equivalent (minimum requirement)

* Minimum of 2 years previous experience

* Experience of diagnostic work is really important

* FGas trained

* Valid driving licence

* Good team player

* Ability to work alone / use own initiative
