Purpose of the role
Are you an experienced Estates Surveyor with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a property environment? Stonegate Group, the UK's biggest pub group with an extensive property portfolio nationwide, is seeking a talented Estates Surveyor to join our dynamic team. If you are MRICS qualified and have a proven track record in estate management, we want to hear from you!
This role requires travel across the Midlands
Key Responsibilities:
* General estate management matters within Stonegate’s property portfolio.
* Leased-in estate management (Landlord & Tenant) including cost control (rent, service charge, insurance).
* Support the Business Rates process and Preferred Supplier arrangements.
* Manage property databases efficiently.
* Handle dispute and complaints management.
* Oversee ACV (Assets of Community Value) management.
* Provide regular reports on all estate management activities.
* Collaborate with internal disciplines and a network of external professional contacts, agents, and solicitors.
* Support the disposal of Group property assets, ensuring optimal sale prices and minimizing holding costs.
* Identify opportunities for extracting exceptional value from alternative use and development (HAUV) opportunities.
Qualifications:
* MRICS qualified (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
* Proven experience in estate management with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong understanding of landlord and tenant relationships.
* Proficiency in property database management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to travel throughout the North of England and occasionally to Solihull.
* Valid driver’s license.
